Minister of Cabinet Affairs Meets South Sudan General Medical Council Over Website Relaunch

The Minister of Cabinet Affairs, Dr. Martin Elia Lomüro, received a delegation from the South Sudan General Medical Council led by its Chairperson, Prof. Dr. Rose Ajak Costa, at his office in Juba.
The delegation briefed the minister on the activities of the council and the relaunch of its official website, which is already hosted under the government domain.
According to Prof. Dr. Rose Ajak Costa, the website will serve as a central platform for capturing data of medical practitioners across the country. It will facilitate registration of medical professionals, document their specializations, and indicate their areas of operation.
The platform will also provide services for receiving complaints and feedback from the public, as well as processing registration forms online.
Dr. Martin Elia Lomüro emphasized that the South Sudan General Medical Council operates under the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs and reaffirmed the ministry’s supervisory role in ensuring the effective implementation of the council’s mandate and activities.
